Predictive Victory
Dynamics Genshin Guide
Read the matchup.
Make your prediction count.
This Predictive Victory Dynamics Genshin guide explains the prediction event, its confirmed opening matchups, and how to plan your Victory Emblems. Learn what to check before choosing a team, how to compare your own prediction assumptions, and which deadlines matter for rewards.
Start with the match board below, then use the free planner to compare allocations. The guide separates confirmed information from estimates: team names are verified opening-round information, while win probabilities are assumptions you supply. A calculated expected score does not establish which team will win.

Round 1 matchups: confirmed opening teams
Confirmed on the official launch flyer. This is the opening-round snapshot, not a live feed. Later rounds will be added when their lineups are verified.
The Mysterious
Little
Frostarm and
Shaman Formation
Saurians Are
the Cutest
These are opening-round pairings, rather than a live list of the currently available matches. Check that your event screen shows the same round before using the corresponding guide.
For either matchup, compare damage potential, durability, skill effects, and starting positions. Ask which units can reach their targets and whether a skill changes how the teams interact. A memorable team name or familiar enemy appearance is not sufficient evidence for a winning pick.
The detailed Round 1 page provides a checklist for each pairing. It does not assign a verified winner when the supporting battle information is unavailable.
Derived from the opening time + the 24-hour window. The in-game countdown is authoritative.
Submit before the timer expires.
Winning and participating are different reward goals.

Build a better checklist →What is Predictive Victory Dynamics in Genshin Impact?
Predictive Victory Dynamics is a Genshin Impact event built around simulated battles. Instead of fighting with your own character team, you inspect opposing lineups and make predictions using Victory Emblems before the prediction window closes.
The official event notice describes eight prediction rounds, each with a 24-hour window. That makes timing part of the task: understanding a matchup is useful only if you submit your prediction while that round remains open.
Use this page as an overview. For changing details such as available Emblems, unit statistics, Support Rate, and score multipliers, check the event screen in your own game before committing.
How to unlock and play the prediction event
The published participation requirements are Adventure Rank 20 or above and completion of the Archon Quest “Prologue: Act III — Song of the Dragon and Freedom.” Check the official notice and your event menu if the activity does not appear.
Once you can access the event:
- Open the active prediction round and check its countdown.
- Inspect both teams in each available matchup.
- Read unit statistics and skill descriptions instead of choosing from team names alone.
- Check your available Victory Emblems and the displayed scoring information.
- Compare possible allocations, then confirm your prediction in-game.
- Return after settlement to review the outcome and any available rewards.
The website planner helps with the comparison step. It does not submit predictions, change your game account, or replace the event’s confirmation screen.
Predictive Victory Dynamics Genshin prediction strategy
A useful prediction starts with an explanation you can check. Write down why you prefer one team before looking at other players’ choices. This makes it easier to distinguish your analysis from a reaction to popularity.
Begin with three questions:
- Damage: What do the displayed attacks and skills suggest about each team’s ability to defeat opposing units?
- Survival: What do HP, defensive effects, and other listed abilities suggest about staying in the battle?
- Interaction: Could positioning or a particular skill change which units fight each other first?
Treat these as a comparison framework, not a formula that guarantees the outcome. If a skill description is unclear or important statistics are missing, lower your confidence rather than inventing a precise advantage.
Next, compare your confidence with the scoring information. A larger winning multiplier can be attractive, but it is not proof that the associated team is more likely to win. Keep the question “Which team do I expect to win?” separate from “What score would this allocation produce if it wins?”
Victory Emblems, Support Rate, and win probability
Victory Emblems are the allocation resource used when making predictions. Before distributing them, confirm your available amount and the options permitted by the current event screen.
Support Rate and estimated win probability describe different things. Support Rate reflects player support; your estimated win probability is your own judgment about the battle. Do not automatically enter a support percentage into the planner’s probability field.
The planner uses three inputs for each allocation: the number of Emblems, your estimated win probability, and the displayed winning multiplier. Keep those inputs current. A multiplier copied earlier may no longer match the information shown when you confirm your prediction.
Concentrating an allocation makes the result depend more heavily on that choice. Splitting it across matches produces a different set of possible outcomes, but does not automatically improve expected score. Compare both plans using the same assumptions before deciding.
How to use the Victory Emblem Planner
Enter your Emblem budget, then add the allocations you want to compare. Use whole numbers for Emblems, percentages for your estimated win probabilities, and the winning multipliers shown in-game.
The planner’s simplified expected-score model is:
Allocated Emblems × estimated win probability × winning multiplier
A hypothetical example illustrates the calculation:
| Allocation | Emblems | Estimated win probability | Winning multiplier | Expected score |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Choice A | 60 | 60% | 3 | 108 |
| Choice B | 40 | 50% | 2 | 40 |
With a budget of 100 Emblems, this plan allocates the entire budget and produces an expected score of 148. Its all-win score is 260. These example probabilities and multipliers are invented for explanation; they are not current event data or team recommendations.
The model assumes zero score from a losing allocation. Check that assumption against the event rules you are using. Expected score is an average implied by your assumptions, not a promised result from one round.
Prediction deadlines and event rewards
Check the prediction deadline before spending time comparing teams. The official notice states that a round’s participation rewards become unavailable after its prediction deadline. Joining later therefore does not mean you can recover every missed participation opportunity.
The homepage countdown is an estimate for the opening round, derived from the published opening time and its 24-hour window. Your in-game countdown is authoritative. When that round has expired, use the active event screen rather than treating an old timer as the next round’s deadline.
Separate participation requirements from score-based goals. Follow the conditions displayed for each reward and confirm whether you need to take an additional claim action.
The reward guide also explains the 420 Primogems listed in the referenced event data. Check the game for the applicable conditions rather than assuming that one prediction grants the full amount.
Results and prediction accuracy
Use the results page to distinguish settled outcomes from predictions made before a battle. An analysis note is not a confirmed result, and an unpublished pick should not be counted as a successful forecast.
For a useful record, retain the round, matchup, prediction, reasoning, and time it was recorded. Add the outcome only after it has been verified. If a prediction is revised before settlement, preserve that revision rather than silently replacing the original entry.
Where a lineup, multiplier, or result has not been checked, leave it marked as unverified. Honest gaps are more useful than a complete-looking table built from assumptions.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need strong characters to win the simulated battle?
You do not bring your own character team into these simulated matchups. Your task is to review the listed teams and make predictions. Your account still needs to meet the event’s participation requirements.
Which team should I choose?
Use the information displayed for the specific matchup: statistics, skills, positioning, and scoring details. This guide does not provide guaranteed winners. If the evidence is incomplete, treat your choice as uncertain.
Should I follow the higher Support Rate?
Player support can provide context, but popularity is not a measured chance of winning. Review the lineup independently and check the displayed multiplier before deciding how many Emblems to allocate.
Can I recover rewards from a missed round?
The official notice says participation rewards for a round are unavailable after its prediction deadline. Check the active round and submit on time rather than relying on a later catch-up opportunity.
Does the planner predict the battle result?
No. It compares allocations using the probabilities and multipliers you enter. It does not simulate unit behavior, discover hidden combat values, or calculate an official win probability.
Why does my expected score differ from the settled score?
Expected score describes an average under your assumptions. A particular allocation either wins or loses under the applicable rules, so one settled result can differ substantially from that average. Incorrect or outdated inputs also make the comparison less useful.
Does using the planner submit a prediction?
No. Calculations take place in your browser. Return to Genshin Impact to confirm your choices before the prediction deadline. Optional analytics does not receive your planner input values.
